Incorporated as a 501(c)3 charitable nonprofit in February 2016, I founded BRCW with my friend Anwar to serve the direct needs of recently arrived resettled Rohingya refugees in Milwaukee. Together we have developed education and health programs, advanced donation distribution networks, offered high level interpreting and translating, and built relationships with service organizations in the space. In 2021, we launched the BRCW Religious, Education, and Cultural Center that currently stands as the largest Rohingya center in the United States.

10-month AmeriCorps service term with the Near West Side Partners via Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC), and Safe & Sound. I served as a Community Safety Coordinator working on several initiatives; property ownership & landlord issues, community safety concerns & partnership with Milwaukee District 3 & Marquette police, the community prosecution unit, district attorneys office, and the safety teams of the 5 Near West Side anchor institutions; Marquette, Miller-Coors, Harley Davidson, Aurora Heath, and Potowatomi. I administrated Milwaukee's longest running and best attended, Landlord Compact Meeting, I played a pivotal role in the grant application process leading to an award of considerable proportion. I surveyed entire neighborhoods working on blight mitigation efforts, outreach and reporting. I also surveyed businesses with the desired attempt to assist with safety measures, promotion purposes and ownership issues.
