I am a research scientist and PhD. Candidate in the field of Kinesiology with 8 years of experience and expertise in psychophysiology, health behaviors and time series data analytics. I was awarded a competitively funded NIH F31 to apply my skills toward examining the impact of health behaviors on physiology. I am passionate about collaborative team science and applying my skills in data science toward of the advancement of health science, technology, and the people it serves.My past and current experience have provided me a unique and diverse insight into the impact of day-to-day human behavior on general wellness. This has allowed me to develop novel research questions and unique experimental designs to explore complex questions in robust ways. Currently, I am a collaborator on 2 government-funded research projects while I manage my own. Each of these projects emphasizes the daily health-related decisions on psychophysiology in health and clinical populations.Skills include: - Time series data analytics - Psychophysiological measurements (e.g., EEG, HRV) - Physical activity monitoring - Metabolic Testing (e.g., V02 Max, RMR, BMR) - Data exploration and analysis (e.g., Matlab, R, Python)
