I was born and raised in Woodbridge, Virginia where I graduated magna cum laude from Gar-Field Senior High School with a International Baccalaureate Career Related Program Degree in Computer Science in 2020. I then continued my education at Christopher Newport University, where I earned a Bachelor's of Science with a Major in Computer Engineering, a Minor in Computer Science, and graduated cum laude. I was also voted into the position of Vice President of the Food Fighters Club on campus where we donated left over food from our dining halls to local food banks in the area, as well as maintaining my position of Fundraising Chair in my fraternity, Kappa Delta Rho. While I attended CNU, during the semesters of my junior and senior year, I worked as a COOP Engineer for Huntington Ingalls Industries. At HII, my responsibilities as a COOP Engineer involved the testing and maintenance of hardware and systems both in the lab and on board CVN 74, a US Navy aircraft carrier. During my summer and winter breaks, I interned at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division as a Test Engineer. While at NSWCDD, I was a part of the Navy Independent Test team, where I was responsible for testing in contribution to combat system certification as well as, research and development of test automation tools. Post graduation, I accepted a job at NSWCDD as the new Navy Independent Test Lead, where I now oversee the operations of NIT as a whole. I lead a small team of Test Engineers that aid in support of combat system certification, maintain and expand a lab that supports our daily operation, and provide inputs and deliverables to stakeholders. Although faced with many challenges along the way, I am eager to learn and apply that knowledge to the many exciting opportunities to come.
