Chemistry graduate with a first class Bsc Hons degree from the University of the West of Scotland. Thesis focused on the novel synthesis of diazo compounds and their metal complexes. Experience with organic and inorganic synthesis as well as techniques such as: UV-Vis spectroscopy, recrystallisation, GC-MS, HP-LC, AAS and transition metal complexing.Spent a number of years working on, building and repairing computers and computer systems. During those years I developed strong IT skills such as using word, excel, databases, troubleshooting software and hardware errors as well as molecular modelling on spartan.
