This role involved providing leadership and mentoring to a team of mining engineers, hydro-geologists and geotechnical engineers, ensuring best practice in mining engineering including peer reviews. I provided technical leads for projects, operating sites and due diligence studies, and participated in numerous due diligence activities, including the successful acquisition of Sierra Rutile into Iluka as well as the internal development and execution of the new Cataby Mine. Compiling data and documentation for public reporting of JORC compliant Ore Reserves involved coordinating information from sites to ensure compliance with Ore Reserve reporting standards.
