After starting at Pureprint in customer services, I am now working in the digital print department as a production manager looking after a wide variety of work. Utilising traditional litho printing and the latest digital HP Indigo print technology there is no job too big or too small. We deal with Asset Management, Print on Demand, Litho and Digital printing, Data Management, Fulfilment, Response Handling, Stock Management and Specialist Outsourcing.

At Copytech I acted as operations manager and ran the production for the pre-press, printing and finishing departments. I had responsibility for staff, including recruitment, holidays, training and discipline. I acted as account executive for some key accounts within the company and liaised with customers regarding technical issues as well as production timescales. My responsibilties covered all outwork sources including procurement of all consumables and negotiation of prices and deals for supplies. I provided estimates for jobs and also acted as cover for the company directors during holidays and sickness.

Printing company of 70 staff operating 24 hours, 7 days a week service. I was employed by the managing director to take control of the production and staff in the pre press department.After running the pre press for a number of years, I was asked to head up and start a new digital printing department within ESP.
