In 2002 I graduated from the University of Liverpool and for the next 3 years I had a variety of roles in mixed, small animal and exotic practice in the UK, Bolivia and Thailand. I then discovered the poultry industry by joining Poultry Health Services based in Cambridgeshire in 2005. I then joined Slate Hall Veterinary Group in February 2008. At Slate Hall I have been working primarily for commercial layer, broiler breeder, broiler and game bird clients as well as some work with ducks and turkeys. I obtained the RCVS Cert PMP in July 2009 and am currently registered for the Diploma. I have previously served on the BVPA committee. I am also an active member of the NFU Poultry Health Group and Poultry Disease Group and APHA Avian Expert Group.
