In my current role, I review 50+ SaaS existing and prospective client contracts on a continuous basis to identify performance obligations and align the company’s revenue recognition practices with ASC 606, accounting for ~$20MM/year in license fee revenue.I also reconcile approximately $40MM in deferred revenue and unbilled deferred revenue against our existing SaaS client contracts to ensure there are accurate runoff balances on the balance sheet.In addition, I act as subject matter expert on business operations, creating a workflow document to map out every revenue stream and enable the visualization of my company's processes and team formats.Furthermore, I employ my strong coaching abilities while training and overseeing four AR employees, utilizing Tableau reporting to create efficiencies by standardizing billing practices for our clients with variable components.

In my previous position, I created enterprise resource planning (ERP) reporting efficiencies, resulting in a 20% decrease in the time needed to generate financial reporting packages. In addition, I spearheaded the transition from Pacific Western Bank to JPMorgan Chase during a time of the bank’s financial instability. While in this role, I implemented Zip procurement software into the company’s operation environment, introducing vendor and contract management best practices and resulting in achieving SOC-2 certification.I also established enhanced vendor renewal policies that allowed key company stakeholders to negotiate favorable rates, resulting in an expedited renewal process at a substantial cost saving.In addition, I trained and oversaw an AP department that processed ~2,000 invoices per month across ~500 vendors.Furthermore, I created a framework to better identify missing bills from vendors, resulting in accurate reporting of monthly costs and adherence to GAAP.Lastly, I reviewed 1,000+ unique vendor profiles within Sage Intacct to ensure alignment with SOC-2 standards.

While in this position at Bayside Auto Group, I integrated the company with Centrix, a print management company, reducing yearly expenditures by $450k.I also digitized the entire vehicle sales process of fifteen vehicle franchises at twelve separate locations in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.Lastly, I developed a shared network and various reports within the Google environment.

In this role, I reconciled $15MM and 500 units of inventory per month with an average turnover of three weeks, resulting in 95% compliance across eighteen unannounced audits performed by various banks.In addition, I accounted for +$400MM retail sales per year in accordance with GAAP, preparing and finalizing financial statements and properly submitting them to corporate leadership and manufacturers within the required timeframe. I also led the improvement and understanding of accounting processes within the company, establishing daily procedures for all personnel and integrating eight existing accounting offices into one.
