Andrew is a seasoned corporate Real Estate professional with over 20 years experience in both Asia Pacific and UK. As a qualified Chartered Surveyor he has worked for a broad spectrum of International Companies covering Project Management, Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying roles. He has experience in both client-side and service provider roles and has gained an extensive understanding of the Corporate Real Estate markets in both Asia and the UK.Andrew has been a Director within Corporate Real Estate Services (CRES) at Barclays for 16 years where he has gained considerable experience in Real Estate, Project Management and Corporate Services fields. Over the past 16 years Andrew has led the significant expansion of CRES in Asia from 230k sq ft in 12 countries to circa 2.1m sq ft, supporting the growth of the Asia Business. Whilst based in Hong Kong he has also performed the role of Chief Operating Officer and held responsibility for Security and Travel (in addition to his CRES role).Key features of his role include:~ Management responsibility for the broad spectrum of CRES activities including, Real Estate, Capital Projects and Service Delivery for Clients (Facilities Management and Corporate Services)~ Leadership of a team of circa 800 staff (predominately outsourced) in 12 countries from diverse cultural backgrounds~ Expertise in strategic outsourcing having managed the transition of the non-core CRES team to a Regional Outsourced Service provider~ Accountable for the management of regional project budgets in excess of GBP 100m. ~ Regional Head of CRES for Asia maintaining key stakeholder relationships across all Barclays divisions - Investment Bank, Wealth, Retail and the Commercial Bank~ Key player in the Hong Kong Corporate Real Estate Market, regularly attending Banking Forums
