Private MSR REIT: Walter Capital Opportunities Corp (Managing $225mm of capital from York Capital Management) - Responsible for all financial aspects of a private mortgage REIT and subsidiaries of Walter Capital Opportunities Corp., managed and co-owned by Walter Investment Management Corp. - Member of the valuation committee relating to $400 million of value in mortgage related assets.- Involved with numerous M&A transactions both on asset and equity. - Developed operating procedures to properly prepare for a potential public offering and related SOX compliance - Responsible for all investment advisor reporting requirements for affiliated advisor Green Tree Investment Management Company, a registered investment advisor with the Securities and Exchange Commission and subsidiary of WAC.- All REIT assets were sold in Q4 2016 by a competitor New Residential Investment Corp (NYSE: NRZ)Corporate Strategy - Key member of a transformation team hired by the Board of Directors to evaluate three independent operating subsidiaries of WAC (Ditech Servicing, Ditech Mortgage Originations and Reverse Mortgage Servicing). Team operated independent from current management team and was assisted by McKinsey & Company.- Developed a robust servicing P&L model which allocated all direct, indirect and corporate P&L at the most granular level and enabled the board to determine business segments making money vs. losing money. Model was utilized to track current state actual P&L as well as three-year projected business plan scenarios factoring in several cost saving initiatives and allocations to a portfolio that has constant changing characteristics which effect costs.

- Completed $1 billion initial public offering of public mortgage REIT New Residential Investment Corp (NYSE: NRZ). NRZ is externally managed by a subsidiary of Fortress Investment Group.- Coordinated all required SEC filings with outside legal counsel, independent auditors and lead bankers. Assisted in addressing all comments or questions from third parties. - Oversaw all finance and accounting relating to five private investment funds with commitments of approximately $2 billion. The funds co-invested with NRZ in 20 Excess Mortgage Servicing Rights investments over a 24-month commitment period. - Developed proprietary asset performance tracking system relating to a portfolio of approximately $300 billion of unpaid principal balance of Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSRs) with approximately $2 billion of capital invested. Servicing related to pools owned by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae and Private Loan Securitizations. - Responsible for all mortgage sub-servicer oversight relating to Nationstar Mortgage Holdings Inc. (NYSE: NSM) and Ocwen Financial Corporation (NYSE: OCN). - Built entire finance and accounting infrastructure to support the public company requirements associated with NRZ.

- Primarily responsible for accounting and operations for a 2007 vintage $6 billion general private equity fund, investing in real estate, gaming, mortgage back securities, transportation, and credit derivatives. Average investment size was approximately $500 million of equity.- Assisted with the daily financial and operational duties of a $2 billion portfolio of mortgage back securities and a large position in the ABX index tied to similar mortgage assets. The positions were levered and the team was responsible for managing all short-term debt obligations.- Reviewed debt covenants and compliance requirements of the funds along with debt held at portfolio companies guaranteed by the funds.- Assisted in the valuation of numerous types of investments by reviewing discounted cash flow models, monitoring of comparable public companies or traded instruments and coordinated third party bids on non-marketable securities.- Developed weekly budget flash reporting provided to the CFO used to determine the amount of capital available for new investments and follow-on investments.- Implemented Investran general ledger systems (SunGard) and the financial reporting structure. - Created a system to integrate the general ledger and a proprietary treasury platform. The process automated 80% of cash activity entries into the ledger by tagging activity at the time of payment request.- Primary contact for the audit and issuance of financial statements performed by Ernst & Young.

- Performed audits of private equity funds, hedge funds, and broker dealers. - Assisted in preparation of engagement budget plans. - Assisted business development group in attracting over $500k of annual fees from personal and business contacts within the financial services Industry. - Major clients include: Psilios Group Managers LLC, Solara Capital LLC, Wafra Investment Advisory Group Inc, and Triad Securities Corp.
