Responsibility for the day to day running of the company, ensuring that the business continued to grow by way of developing new customers whilst maintaining and supporting the existing customer base.Since 2012 sales have increased increased from £23m to £40m through organic growth and acquisition.Key Achievements• Identified, developed and directed the implementation of business strategies in line with global targets to increase sales by 10% per annum.• Lead, motivated and developed an inexperienced management team.• Ensured that sales, technical and engineering resources were available ensuring a high quality service to customers. • Developed business plans and prepared business reports for the group board and financial institutes.• Responsible for the company’s quality, environmental, health and safety and legislative compliance.• Controlled business expenditure for each of the divisions, with a combined budget of £36m.• Identified and integrated businesses for acquisition resulting in increased sales and a diverse product range.

MuSol Ltd was a subsidiary of SNF (UK) Ltd. The business supplied innovative products along with technical and engineering support to the UK municipal and industrial waste water sector for odour control applications. The business had a turnover of £1.5m with 4 staff. Responsibility for developing business in the UK and overseas by introducing new products and technologies to SNF’s customer base. Key Achievements• Identified and carried out due diligence on the MuSol business prior to it being acquired by SNF (UK) Ltd.• Identified and developed strategic suppliers in Europe, Africa, USA and the Far East minimising transportation costs of raw materials.• Liaised with SNF group companies to develop global sales for MuSol technologies. • Developed sales and provided technical expertise to customers in Europe, USA, Middle East, Far East, South America and Africa.• Designed, developed and delivered training packages for both internal SNF group employees as well as external customers.• Ensured that the business adhered to quality, environmental and health and safety legislation.

Responsibility for providing customers with technical and laboratory support to ensure that SNF products were being applied in the most cost effective way. Key Achievements• Recruited and developed a team of field based technicians to provide technical support to SNF customers.• Project managed the construction of a new purpose built laboratory and recruited and trained laboratory staff. • Liaised with SNF global product teams to evaluate and market new products.• Worked alongside new and existing customers to develop products specifically for their application. • Designed and commissioned a small production facility to locally produce new and existing blended products.• Developed and audited quality procedures which enabled the company to become ISO 9001 accredited.• Introduced and managed the company’s health and safety policy and procedures.
