My role at Castlemilk is to organise my time effectively to ensure housing maintenance for domestic and agricultural buildings is kept up to date. This includes EICRs, fault finding and rewires. I am the quality surveyor for all testing at the company through Napit.

Working as part of a shift Rota to ensure pre planned maintenance, breakdowns and project work is completed efficiently. While using my existing electrical knowledge and building on my mechanical and automations knowledge I am able to help maintain the various machinery in the factory. I am furthering my knowledge of Automations through small scale projects. This involves designing and implementing a programme, then installing the equipment to further improve current machinery. This experience has been on Siemens equipment. I have been assisting in valve maintenance in the process area of the plant as part of my mechanical improvement. Using SAP software to create and complete jobs, PPM's and control stock levels.I have continued my First Aider, Fire Warden and Permit to work control roles to this job.

Part of a multi skilled team maintaining Electrical, Mechanical and Instrument equipment within my present competence and training.Through this experience I gained my Compex qualification and this allowed me to perform installation, testing and inspection of all the electrical equipment on site. Process controller for Beattock Compressor station dealing with all site manners including controlling all Permits for the site, ensuring high levels of safety are always followed and co ordinating contractors and site deliveries.
