• Collate, calculate and administer wages for all weekly and monthly employees • Liaise with Accounts Team and external payroll provider to exchange payroll related data and information to enable duties to be completed.• Processing and completing of relevant SSP and SMP payments.• Resolve and correct all payroll queries in a timely manner• Produce weekly hours report of agency temporary workers• Check 7 day & >60 hour working for all temporary and permanent workers (weekly)• Ensure that all Inland Revenue requirements regarding payroll are met including managing P45/P46’s, P60 and P11d where appropriate. • Ensure any deductions to pay or pay increases are managed appropriately. • Monitor HR and payroll issues concerning employees e.g. Working time Directive requirements, failing to clock in, absenteeism and time keeping, etc. • Ensure pension upload files are correct and match pay slips• HR files: Maintain and update staff personnel files, ensuring that all documentation is correctly entered, including sick notes, maternity documents, employee correspondence etc.• Order and issue clock cards, award vouchers, and any other supplies required to carry out HR duties• Update 5S templates and chase auditors for missing audits (weekly)• Dealing with internal and external correspondence including insurance paperwork, medical information requests, reference requests, etc.• Ordering Safety equipment as per request, and allocating invoices accordingly• Chase managers to correct TMS anomalies (twice weekly)• Maintain HR database (TMS) to ensure information is accurate at all times• Undertake monthly TMS data integrity audits and ensure HR database errors are resolved• HR related invoices – reconcile invoices and return to the appropriate people for authorisation.• Supervising Time and Attendance system and communicate any technical problems to IT department

Identify any discrepancies in the information held by the company and amend as necessary.• Calculate deductions from pay for pension contributions as well as arrangement for these payments to be sent over to the pension provider.• Input new recruit’s information on to the ledger adhering to company compliance regulations – this included ensuring that all necessary documentation was received for the new employee including right to work in the UK, verified bank details and any other necessary documents.• Liaise with HMRC regarding information received for updates to employee tax codes and provide information back regarding employee leaving dates, tax codes etc.• Weekly meeting with the finance director regarding weekly forecasts for incoming/outgoing expenditure, voicing any issues and organising workload.• Dealing with any arising payroll queries
