I am a partner at Shakespeare Martineau and head up the firm’s contentious trusts and probate team.I specialise in advising individual clients, corporate bodies and charities on disputed wills, legacies, estates and trusts. I also deal with disputed applications in the Court of Protection. I am experienced in resolving disputes both through the court process and through alternative dispute resolution, especially mediation.I also work under the Lime Solicitors brand, which is part of the Shakespeare Martineau family. Lime is our consumer-facing brand, advising individuals on intra-family inheritance and trust disputes.I frequently act as an independent trustee, executor or administrator, often in high value and complex estates involving disputed aspects.I am a full member of ACTAPS (the Association for Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists).
