CurrentEDC Rig 51 #1 Drilling Rig in the world over 93 Rigs According to SHELL KPI for the first quarter of 2017.EDC Rig 51 2000 HP Top Drive NOV PS-500, 3 EA CAT.3512 Diesel Engines.Job description: • Operating, maintaining and repairing main emergency generators , cars , refrigeration and gear boxes.• Starting up and bringing on line generators for parallel or split plant operation, adjusting load, power factor and frequency of generator and monitoring the operating parameters of generators including temperature of generator, frequency, load sharing and protective devices.• Troubleshooting and repairing air and vacuum breakers, protective devices, voltage regulators and governor electronic control on generator switch.• Maintaining transformers inspected, cleaned and testing of insulation of its windings.• Installing, troubleshooting and repairing multiple start-stop stations, switches (transducers, pressure, proximity, flow temperature etc.) timers, relays and solid-state switching devices.• Repairing BOP Mechanical control and indication system.• Maintaining and repairing all Mechanical equipment associated with pipe handling machines, top drive units, mud pumps, draw works, cranes as per preventive maintenance systems, miscellaneous galley appliances and equipment, water heaters, fire detection and emergency equipment, washing machines and dryers in the laundry, all lighting, auxiliary electric brake.
