Informa acquired UBM mid 2018 to become the worlds largest exhibition company. I took up my role in Maritime at that time. We create, curate and deliver multiple event and media platforms for customers to meet THEIR new, potential and current customers in a live, online and in print environment, During Pandamic, role expanded to include Industrial, Design and Turkiye business

I joined UBM to be part of the acquisition of Seatrade Communications Ltd which took place in July 2014 from which time I also took the role of General Manager for the Seatrade Business.Initially Managing a global workforce in Maritime and Cruise events, with offices and key people in Dubai, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Panama and Bogota, Seatrade offers its customers a global solution for promoting their business, meeting new customers and securing long term opportunitiesIn March 2017, the Aviation brands of Routes and ASM have been combined with Seatrade to create the overall Transport portfolio serving our industries and their stakeholders

I had always dreamed of starting my own business, which I did with AWtonomy. A Strategic and Business development, Interim Management, Business Planning and Improvement service provider to businesses. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, however came to realise that I am more of a 'corporate citizen' (while still having the entrepreneurial spirit) than I thought I was. It was during my time with UBM through AWtonomy that the opportunity to join as part of the acquisition of Seatrade presented itself and I am extremely pleased to have the opportunity to be part of UBM.

Managing the team and working with a board of Non Exec directors to maximise the benefits of the London and Southampton boat shows for the leisure marine industry and it's contribution to the finances of the BMFIn addition, during my time at NBS, I also held the position of President of IFBSO - a non executive role chairing the Executive Committee that represented the worlds best boat shows

Directing the Sales, Marketing and Operations of this £150m+ company in the UK

Established Nintendo UK as a stand alone business (from 3rd party distribution) and grew the UK to become Europes largest sales territory (from 3rd position through distributor)

Leading several roles and developments within Disney, from development of the Home Entertainment business and then establishing Disney Interactive, followed by Disney Audio Sales, Marketing & Distribution
