In this role, I was working within the CX org at Wealthsimple to deliver the first team of Customer Experience Associates with a BPO partner offshore in Cape Town, South Africa as well as a nearshore team in Winnipeg, Canada. This role had required a heavy emphasis of vendor management with the addition of performance management as an experienced client experience leader. Within the role, I was managing 3 domestic employees responsible for a team of 100+ across 2 vendors in Cape Town and Winnipeg.

In this role, I was responsible for sourcing, validating & managing the sale cycle with outsourcing agencies across the Philippines & India. I experienced the full sales cycle -- reviewed MSAs, negotiated prices & expectations, and launched after a detailed implementation process. I spent a year in Manila, Philippines, building out this project. The team in Manila has now scaled from 0 to 50 employees, across 6 departments. Shortly after my return to Toronto, I added 11 employees in India across 2 departments. With this venture, I successfully transitioned processes from Customer Support (70%), Claims Analysis (99%) & Operations Departments (99%) while reducing staffing costs by 60%-70%.
