I bring over 15 years of expertise in operation, maintenance, certification, and management for the Bulk Electric System and Naval Nuclear Power Plants. My career has been dedicated to ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of complex energy systems through rigorous training, meticulous planning, and innovative problem-solving.At JEA, I have led the design and delivery of NERC-compliant operator qualification training programs, significantly enhancing operational safety and efficiency. My role involves conducting operational planning, providing technical leadership, and overseeing compliance processes to ensure the integrity and reliability of electric system operations. I have a proven track record of directing control room operations, managing transmission service tariff administration, and ensuring compliance with NERC and FRCC standards.Prior to my tenure at JEA, I served in various supervisory roles within the U.S. Navy's Nuclear Power Training Units, where I was responsible for the direct supervision and management of nuclear plant chemistry control, trends, and training. My experience includes extensive hands-on training and instruction in reactor plant systems, operational safety, and water chemistry management.I am committed to maintaining a culture of first-time quality work and minimal errors.
