At the Rusk Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine: Studied motor planning of hand and eye movements among stroke patients through the use of an interactive video game with motion tracking capability. Administered the test to subjects and designed specialized computer programs to assist with data analysis. The designed game has a potential therapeutic role for patients with motor planning dysfunction by enhancing hand and eye movements during motor planning tasks.

At the Institute for Successful Aging (formerly at UMDNJ - SOM): Studied the role of the blood-brain barrier on the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease. Designed and developed a computer algorithm to perform a fully-automated image analysis and quantification of slides containing neurons within regions of the cortex. The program greatly enhanced the efficiency of data acquisition from slide images.
