André is responsible to drive global customer innovation strategy at AWS. He also serves as member of the TSIA Advisory Board influencing industry research initiatives. Prior to his current assignment, André was responsible for SAP’s global customer first strategy. In his 20 years with SAP Andre held several leadership roles. He was responsible for strategy and operations in the SAP North America Innovation Office and was head of strategic initiatives at SAP Ariba. Previously, he worked as director in corporate strategy. Before André relocated from Germany to the U.S. in 2014, he served as lead architect for high-performance customer analytics applications. André holds 10 patents, a doctorate in business administration, a master’s degree in management, and a German Diplom in business information systems. He completed the executive development program for innovation and growth at the Wharton School in Pennsylvania. André is a global citizen and emphatic strategist, blending American innovation leadership and German software engineering.
