I am head of PKF Francis Clark’s specialist national legal sector team and currently advise in the region of 100 law firms across the UK, ranging from Top 100 firms to sole practioners. Offering diverse specialist advice to the law sector including strategy, profit improvement, tax planning and business structuring, as well as the usual compliance in relation to audit and accounting matters, I also advise a wide range of larger corporate clients, often those operating within regulated sectors. These businesses include a mix of high profile family businesses, public funding related and mutual or semi-mutual organisations. I am a past chair of the ICAEW Solicitors’ Special Interest Group which works closely with national bodies that both represent and support the legal sector.
