Cyber Security Consultant
CurrentAs a Cybersecurity Consultant, I lead all efforts in delivering comprehensive gap analyses and remediation strategies for clients across various industries. My work is centered around key frameworks CMMC Level 2 (NIST 800-171) and CIS IGs. I ensure organizations not only meet compliance but are empowered with the knowledge to maintain security independently. My approach focuses on educating internal teams about the nuances of security controls and equipping them to address gaps effectively, beyond mere checklist assessments.I work directly with IT teams on-site at small to medium-sized businesses, collaborating across departments to deliver tailored solutions and address specific security challenges. My experience spans the development and authoring of Incident Response Policies, System Security Plans, and Executive Summary Reports. This ensures that clients have a clear roadmap for achieving and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. I also help teams equip themselves to foster a strong culture of security awareness.In addition to technical consulting, I am responsible for identifying and securing new clients. This includes conducting initial meetings, leading presentations, and demonstrating the value of cybersecurity compliance. I also regularly follow up with clients to check on their progress, offer assistance, and provide clarification on the process, ensuring they stay on the right path to achieving compliance.
