About Andrew Riley

Hi! My name is Andrew Riley. I have been on a quest to learn all of my life. I earned a Bachelors degree and both History and Political Science at Purdue University, as well as a Masters degree at the University of Indianapolis. Following the completion of my Masters degree I was accepted into the initial cohort of students at the Iron Yard's Indianapolis campus.At the Iron Yard I focused primarily on Ruby and Ruby on Rails, but more importantly I learned how to think and problem solve like an engineer. For our final project my teammates and I created an app called Votenuity. The point of the app was to increase civic participation in Indiana and Indianapolis(more specifically it was to help increase voter turnout) The link to the site is in my profile.In my freetime, I like to continue to work on Votenuity, learn new programming languages, read, listen to music, and play video games.
