As Senior Investigator, served as the Deputy Team Leader in managing the civilian reprisal investigations unit. Duties included supervising investigations, both domestically and globally, and mentoring/leading a cadre of experienced investigators and former military officers in complex, high profile investigations. Instrumental in improving the efficiency and time management of the team’s investigative operations. Conducted complainant, witness, and subject interviews. Drafted and served evidence requests and analyzed relevant evidence gathered. Upon completing investigations, ensured issues were addressed and fully resolved in detailed reports of investigation, to include executive summaries for senior leadership. Developed the legal and investigative framework in conducting the Federal Government’s first substantive national security reprisal investigation program. Interfaced with external stakeholders concerning the civilian whistleblower investigation program. Notably, briefed the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) concerning the Intelligence Community reprisal investigation program.
