OST Energy is a leading independent engineering consultancy specialising in renewable energy, with over 10GW of PV experience.Working from the Cape Town office, highlights of my role :- leading and managing independent technical reviews of major module manufacturers in Korea, China, Taiwan, Portugal and South Africa- project manager and engineer providing development advisory services for over 140 MWp of planned PV projects in Kenya and Nigeria- project manager and engineer for lenders due diligence of a bid for a 57MWp PV plant submitted into the 4th round of the South African REIPPPP. Engineering roles on 2 other bids of 87MWp each.- irradiation assessment and energy yield modelling (PVsyst) for rooftop and utility scale PV systems in South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Jordan and the UK.

As product manager I worked within the product development team which was spread across several continents. I managed the portfolio of Barefoot Power's products through the product cycle and was responsible for ensuring that products and accessories being developed were appropriate to our market of those without reliable access to electricity. I also provided technical support to our sales and technical teams across the globe and was responsible for the implementation of Barefoot Power's CDM Programme of Activities.

Managed the registration and implementation of the Barefoot Power CDM carbon project for Uganda and Kenya: Barefoot Power Lighting Programme.

I led the Greenhouse Assessment team at CRI which has undertaken GHG inventories for over 300 businesses in Australia and internationally. As well as being the main point of contact for many clients I was responsible for the timely delivery of all GHG inventories, LCAs and reports including technical oversight.I also provided consultancy and project design for greenhouse abatement and energy efficiency projects under the CDM, VCS or local energy efficiency schemes.
