Key role requirements included:A working knowledge of OPF layout/PFD - Understanding where Process Units were located, and the process streams to which they were connected.A strong commitment to safety - Working in a plant environment and performing manual handling tasks required constant vigilance from all team members to ensure the safety of themselves and others. Collection of representative samples - letting the sample run through, "cutting" the stream and use of appropriate containers. Co-ordination of sampling with Process Operators/Metallurgist and site management - To safely complete the campaign some samples had to be taken whilst the plant was shut down. To minimise the impact on production all efforts were made to co-ordinate these events with maintenance shutdowns. -
