Responsible for daily oversight of 35 Bargained hourly employees and front line support for Assembly operations. Track Assembly point of contact for Quality, Engineering, Maintenance and Safety Teams.Responsible for SAP inventory tracking, material staging and verification of Bills of Material prior to production runs.Authority for daily manpower coordination to ensure critical assets are staffed, and management of hour by hour production boards.Ownership for Continuous Improvement Board and follow-up for safety CI cards with team members.Participate in incident investigations and leading emergency/interim/permanent corrective actions.Conduct regular safety audits, providing assistance in addressing safety concerns promptly and implementation of long term solutions.Participates in Kaizen events, Root Cause Corrective Action discussions, Built In Quality, Lean and 6 Sigma initiatives in Track Assembly value stream. *Achievement*In BB components, I found worn out mats at 1 of the Bushing Microfinishing machines. Operators can sometimes track coolant on the soles of their shoes outside the machine. This posed a potential slip/trip/fall hazard on all operators. I was able to track down a spare pallet of snap together mats with a considerable amount of grip on them. I installed the new mats and that area is much safer now for operators.

Support operations by operating a Microfinishing machine for Tractor Track Bushings.Responsible for Frequent quality checks using a Mitotoyo gauge for inner and outer diameter measurements of Track Bushings.Diagnosing, Troubleshooting and Problem Solving as needed for Machine faults and crashes.Offloading and packaging Track Bushings into tubs for the customer.*Achievement*I was able to set new production records in my area (parts per shift) by doing a time study to track machine down time on the Impco Microfinishing machines. Instead of waiting for GDI truckers to get parts for my area, I started trucking for me and my team and we were able to consistently achieve better daily production numbers and also minimize downtime. I was also able to get other operators trained on fork trucks across all shifts to increase their productivity as well.
