Operations Manager Infrabuild Reinforcing Construction Solutions Jun 2011 – Dec 2019 ● 8 years and 7 months Melbourne, VictoriaFormerly OneSteel Reinforcing now, Infrabuild is a 3-shift operation supplying a range of steel reinforcing solutions for construction, mining and industrial applications. The 3 shifts produce between 200 and 220 tonnes per day across 30 to 40 daily deliveries. The company also has a purpose-built engineered mesh machine operating producing up to 600 tonnes of mesh sheet for the growing pre-cast industry each month.As Operations Manager, I am responsible for the day-to-day running of plant and equipment at the company’s primary site, the largest reinforcing steel production facility in Victoria . We are currently supporting major projects including the Skyrail Project, Westgate and Metro tunnel projects, and a range of commercial construction projects throughout the Melbourne CBD.In this role, I have consistently ensured alignment with workplace health and safety, environmental protection, and product quality (ISO 9001) policies and best-practice. I am responsible for the work of 4 direct reports and more than 90 indirect reports across engineering, production, and logistics functions.► Key Achievements▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ✓ Managed supply of all reinforcing product for Skye Rail project totally 20,00 tonnes so far over a 2 year period.✓ Led a project to analyse data, review productivity, and drive operational reform including performance accountability measures and KPIs.✓ Successfully reduced “wasted movement” and double-handled and implemented operational process improvements; increasing productivity by 25%.✓ Drove an increase in daily output (since 2011) from 120 tonnes per day to an average of 200 – 220 tonnes per day.✓ Developed a safety-first culture resulting in the site experience more than 14 months (to date) without an MTI injury.✓ Maintained a DIFOT average of 97% at new daily delivery requirements of 200+ tonnes.

Operations ManagerAFCO Automotive Foam ComponentsJan 2004 – Dec 2010 ●7 YearsVictoria, AustraliaAFCO was a 3-shift operation utilising 4 continuous-production caracal lines that manufactured foam products for the automotive and bus industry. Over its 3 shifts it produced up to 18,000 items per day with multiple daily just-in-time (JIT) deliveries. Having established a strong track record with the company, I was promoted to an operations management role, reporting directly to the company’s GM. I led a team of 80 and managed production and manufacturing in the context of a business with an annual turnover of $16 million. I successfully managed end-to end production including product research, cost analysis, tender submissions and business acquisition, production human resources, and production scheduling to meet client JIT and DIFOT requirements. I led operational change associated with the introduction of new products, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and client expectations.
