The Animal Foundation’s Development Department was a start-up venture when I arrived in November of 2009. While the organization had a 30+ year history, I was the first Director of Development and the first externally focused employee. I quickly set out to establish baseline fundraising, marketing, promotions, outreach and volunteer functions to better.
