I graduated with my B.S. of Mechanical Engineering and Minor in Engineering Design at Kennesaw State University, GA and performed 5 years of additive manufacturing research and product development through KSU's 3D Printing Center. I have always loved solving complex problems, designing components, performing FEA to prove my idea, 3D print and then field testing as quickly as possible. I participated on KSU's FSAE racing teams for 2 years, internal combustion for my freshman year and then the EV team my sophomore. These two years were foundational to my engineering career learning to work in such diverse and dynamic teams, I wouldn't trade the late nights and hard work for anything looking back. My hobbies include overlanding and camping in our Jeep Gladiator where we have camped, offroaded and explored though 40 states, 20 National Parks, and tens of thousands of miles of North America to this point. If you haven't already heard, I started a new show called The Local Engineer Podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcast and wherever you can listen to podcasts! Each episode I invite on STEM professionals and aspiring engineers to share their story of why they wanted to become an engineer. No two stories are the same, and all are incredibly unique yet we all have a passion to design, engineer, manufacture and explore.
