Financial Planning, Forecasting & Modeling• Managed OME’s $350M+ annual multi-tier consolidated budget, 5 year strategic business plan and quarterly forecast processes in coordination with the FP&A Director, including development of high level assumptions, coordination with department & subsidiary management, and preparation of presentations to senior executives.• Developed and maintained the long-term consolidated company financial statement model used to value company equity under various operating scenarios using both intrinsic and relative valuation methods. • Created financial models for impairment testing of tangible and intangible assets for 4 acquired businesses and managed the process with third party valuation firms and auditors. • Quantified the cost savings to provide financial support for replacing OME’s legacy credit facilities with a new $125 million revolving credit facility entered into in 2015. Operational Modeling & Analytics• Partnered with 3 plant managers to build financial models that incorporated detailed bottoms-up activity-based costing for OME’s 3 Human Nutrition continuous process manufacturing facilities that significantly improved product/SKU costing and gross profit accuracy.Capital Budgeting• Provided the financial justification for significant discretionary capital expenditures and buy vs. lease analyses to senior management and the board; OME deploys $25-45 million capital expenditures annually.M&A• Led the due diligence and analysis for 4 acquisitions valued at a total of $115 million. Performed financial modeling of target companies on both standalone and consolidated bases. Credit Analysis• Improved the company’s credit risk processes by working with the operations, sales and accounting groups to identify key suppliers, vendors and customers for credit review. Investor Relations• Supported investor relations efforts by identifying and performing analyses that provided insight into OME’s stock valuation.
