Senior Management Position reporting to the Head of Design and Delivery. I run the delivery team who are responsible for delivering all project work for SCC’s Data Centre Service’s Customers. This includes all aspects of project delivery or transformation on to Private Cloud, On Premise, Colocation, AWS and Azure platforms.  Leads 30+ multi-disciplined project Architects, Network Architects and Technical Specialists to deliver multiple, complex, high-profile, business change projects across Data Centre Managed Service environments using PRINCE2 and Agile methodologies. Interfaces with the customer and internal teams ensuring the proposed solutions have clearly defined requirements and deliverables that will achieve customer acceptance criteria. Closely monitors and manages the project scope and budget, ensuring appropriate Risk Management strategy is applied and that key stakeholders are kept informed as necessary. Drives improvements in team performance and productivity by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and providing ongoing appraisals of their performance. Initiated cross-team partnership to improve Project delivery and refine the strategies to ensure projects are resourced, scheduled and successfully delivered into BAU service within time and quality tolerances.

Currently assigned to Capita Investment Services as the Lead TDA where I undertake any project on the IT Roadmap. This can encompass many roles from Enterprise Architect to Technical Design Authority through to Solution, Application and Client Architect which means I am involved in a project from the discovery phase through to deployment and implementation. I am also heavily involved with the client and have to liaise with key stakeholders at all levels. Current projects include:- - Lead Architect on the DR Datacentre move to a new Ark facility, I am working with the various books of business to assess the application impact, detailing the design, facilitating the migration and testing processes required. - Lead Architect on the application migrations to Capita Private Cloud.  - Lead Architect on a stream of work to recommend and implement various performance improvements to an application called Dolphin.

I am responsible for the implementation of IT projects, including the Shaping, Planning, Design, Testing & Implementation of various technology solutions adhering to our Architecture Principles. Achievements include the implementation of various SAP solutions including leading a £2 million pound project across seven production facilities across GB. I am also responsible for all the documentation required to support the solution, this includes Technical Specs, Functional Specs, Knowledge Transfer sessions which are then handed over to our BAU support teams or partners.
