Given that Inspiritus is, at present, a small press, there is considerable overlapping between the roles of our team members. That said, my primary role is in talent recognition, substantive editing, and stylistic technique. I assess the literary merit and potential of submissions of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and sometimes multimedia projects.I also perform a sales role, as well as acting as a brand ambassador, as I cultivate relations throughout the CanLit world in pursuit of my own creative goals.

Published in UofT’s Learning Curves Vol.19.I have had my poetry and short stories appear in The Danforth Review, Ascent Aspirations, Town-Crier (published by The Puritan), Feathertale Magazine, and Pouch Magazine (US). I have also made numerous speaking appearances for a variety of literary reading series, allowing me to hone my public- speaking skills and stage-presence. I earned a ninety-percent for my final thesis project in University: an investigation of meta-ethics in functional, anarchist society.In 2015, sold rights to a feature-length film.

Toronto Compassion Centre was one of the first, if not the very first compassionate dispensaries in Canada. They went to the Supreme Court in 1998 and won, striking a landmark victory on the road to cannabis decriminalization and eventually legalization. I worked at Bloor Animal Hospital between February 2007 and August 2008 as a veterinary assistant where I was responsible for caring for sick animals and helping their owners, often in stressful emergency situations. I was trusted with restricted drugs and money as well as opening and closing the clinic. I assisted veterinarians with examinations and medical procedures as well as sample collection and analysis. I worked as part of a tightly knit group that practiced a wide array of veterinary medicine and I helped in the supervision of trainees.
