I have had experience in Event logistics and Project Management, these skills have taken me around the world working on high profile projects. When I couldn't find designers who could deliver drawings for the products I was working on I taught myself CAD and produced my own drawings. This led me into conversations with Structural Engineers and expanded my technical knowledge of the products. Using all my previous skills I am now able to design buildings for the event industry that are modular, fast to install and practicable to operate.

In 2010 TSG landed the contract to build the raised deck in Greenwich Park London that staged the Equestrian Events for the Olympic Games.Having supplied TSG with all their road haulage requirements for many years it was a logical step to become the Logistics Manager for TSG.Part of my role involved stock control and I devised paperwork and stock control systems that proved to be reliable and user friendly. I also took over the scheduling of labour and plant ensuring all our sites had everything they needed to keep running efficiently through this busy period.Using my contacts within the haulage industry I assembled a fleet of vehicles and drivers that knew and understood the event industry, and were committed to meeting the exacting delivery schedules we had to meet.During the build and removal of the Olympic tests and main events I was responsible for planning 400 deliveries and collections to Olympic sites we achieved a 100% on time delivery and collection record of which I am very proud.In 2012 the Logistics team at TSG planned, loaded and delivered over 500 loads of stock to all the TSG sites across the UKRelationships and skill’s I developed in this role have allowed me to move on to project management and allow me to plan and make better decisions in this later role.

After I left college I worked here as Farm foreman, the owner had an interest in building and did most of his own building works. Not only did I become a skilled machine operator I learned the basics of groundwork’s and building construction, becoming a skilled welder, and steel worker.My agricultural background has given me a good grounding in problem solving and reacting to circumstances outside of my control.
