In May 2014, I joined the Central Committee of the Delaware County Republican Party, and was elected by his Central Committee colleagues to serve as an at-large member of the GOP’s Executive Committee, earning the most votes in this multi-way race. I also served as the chairman of the DCRP’s communications committee.In January 2015, I moved to Franklin County and therefore resigned my positions with the Delaware County GOP.

At 19 years old, I was the youngest elected official in Delaware history, and was at that time the youngest elected official in the state of Ohio. In 2011, I was reelected to a second four-year term with 63% of the vote. I currently serve as chairman of the city's Finance Committee, and as Delaware's representative to the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission.I served on the Delaware City Council from 2007 through 2015. I was first elected in 2007, winning a hotly contested six-way race. At 19 years old, I was the youngest elected official in the state of Ohio. In 2011 I was reelected to a second four-year term with 63% of the vote. I decided not to run for reelection in 2015 to pursue other interests.
