Future of interconnection - Led the high-profile Interconnector Policy Review (ICPR) to determined whether further cross-border capacity was likely in consumers interest and Ofgem's regulatory approach to future interconnection and multiple-purpose interconnection (MPIs). Managed a long-term programme of targeted stakeholder engagement and policy implementation.Interconnector regulation - Regulatory lead for a number of interconnectors, working closely with developers as they progress through the cap and floor regulatory regime. Involved managing stakeholder relationships, as well as detailed technical, commercial, legal, and economic analysis of project submissions and options for regulatory policy improvement.European infrastructure - Managed Ofgem’s working level engagement with European energy infrastructure forums and processes, such as on Projects of Common Interest (PCIs). Involved providing GB input into European infrastructure issues and working with other European energy regulators.

UKCS Resilience – Leading on the horizon scanning workstream to understand UKCS Licensee financial robustness. Managing a financial survey to industry and the analysis of financial data using an in-house financial model.Financial briefing and analysis – Point of contact for financial analysis and briefings for Senior Leadership meetings with E&P companies and investors. Integrating insights from a range of financial, economic and technical data sources.Investor Relations – Promoting the UKCS to existing and new investors. Developing relationships with industry participants to understand their perceptions of the basin and identify barriers to investment. International Engagements – Conducting analysis of where UKCS investment origionates and identifying new markets in order to influence OGA engagement internationally. Maintaining relationships with Government networks in priority countries to ensure consistent messaging.Licensing – Providing support to the OGA Licencing function with financial and commercial due diligence. Worked with contractors to update the OGA financial due diliigence process and guidance.

An integrated Geoscientist on the BP Challenger gradate programme. I held roles spanning the Oil & Gas Upstream in exploration, well planning and field developments.2014-2015: Planning a high-pressure high-temperature well in a multi-discipline cross-site team. Experiences include 3D-seismic interpretation, overburden description, shallow hazard identification, understanding drilling practices and pore pressures.2014: Seconded to BP Oman for well site experience on the Khazzan gas field during its appraisal phase. I witnessed the drilling process as well as a fracking operation.2013-2014: Working in the multi-discipline reservoir management team for the super-giant Rumaila field in Iraq. Experiences include the integration of vast quantities of data, wireline interpretation, image log interpretation, building a sequence stratigraphic framework, geocellular modelling, managing a contract with external suppliers and reporting.2012-2013: Working in the Eastern Hemisphere Renewal team with a focus on East Africa, part of the Access and Exploration Division. This role involved regional seismic interpretation, play concept generation, gross deposition environment (GDE) mapping, international data room visits and reporting.2012: Three month project for my MSc dissertation. My dissertation was entitled "The Hydrocarbon prospectivity of the Majunga Basin, Madagascar". This involved the interpretation of a new 2D-seismic data set, basin analysis calculations and petroleum systems modelling.

Based in Perth, but worked mainly in the Australian outback during an active drill program. I participated in core-logging, camp management and HSSE, undertook a soil sampling survey, assisted in a ground based SQUID electro-magnetic survey and also a downhole electro-magnetic survey.

My project aimed to use iron-isotopes to investigate different models for the formation of the moon. this involved literature reveiw, moon-rock sample preparation and extraction of isotopes using collumns, followed by analysis using MCICP mass-spectrometry.

I worked with Savannah during research for my final dissertation at the University of Oxford. The project involved mapping of two potential gold provinces in northern Nigeria (Epi-orogenic and IOCG) to understand the process behind gold-mineralisation. The project also involved U-Pb dating of samples to grasp the regional evolution of Nigeria in the Paleao-Proterozoic.
