Andrew P. Campbell is the Managing Partner of Campbell, Guin, Williams, Guy, and Gidiere, LLC. The firm is a regional practice with offices in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa consisting of seventeen attorneys who specialize in business and corporate litigation, trials and arbitrations, corporate transactions, tax, securities and public finance, bankruptcy, and labor. After graduating from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1978, where he was a member of Order of the Coif and the Law Review, as well as an M. Leigh Harrison Scholar (top 5 percent of the class), Mr. Campbell clerked for Judge Walter P. Gewin on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Since that time, he has practiced law in Birmingham for over 30 years, specializing in all areas of business litigation, including corporate and securities litigation, class actions, and shareholder and derivative actions in federal and state courts in Alabama and around the country. He has served as a member of the State of Alabama Securities Commission and Special Assistant Attorney General representing the state of Alabama in many cases.Mr. Campbell has tried numerous cases in both federal and state courts and before all the major arbitration panels throughout the United States. He obtained the largest jury verdict in the state’s history at the time on an individual shareholder oppression case in James v. James 768 So2d 356.
