My name is Andrew Caume and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I am currently an IT System Administrator for Sustainable Housing and MJM Energy where I oversee all networking, computer systems, and mobile devices. I have developed and maintained multiple WordPress websites, created and edited technical documentation and client-facing written materials, and actively engage with Windows Active Directory and the Microsoft Office Administrative suite. I am an honours graduate from Mount Saint Vincent University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Studies. I concentrated on English studies and achieved two minors in Communication and Writing.From December 2020 - March 2021, I was hired for a temporary student position at MSVU’s Career Services where I virtually met with students pursuing career opportunities, helped students develop resumes and cover letters, managed the Career Services social media, and helped coordinate a campus-wide virtual job fair event.From 2015 - 2018, I worked at Plexus Connectivity Solutions, a company that specializes in network and structured cabling implementation. Through Plexus, I have worked with many clients and personalities during extensive projects, learned how to manage large-scale projects, and actively engaged with a large variety of data and network testing equipment. In 2018, I decided structured cabling was not a career path I wanted to continue with and applied to take classes at Mount Saint Vincent University.In early 2015, I started a business that specialized in aerial media capture with the use of drone technology called SkyVantage Multimedia. I was the Co-Operator of SkyVantage Multimedia and worked with various companies across Nova Scotia providing professional drone services and multimedia/graphic design work.From 2012 - 2014, I attended Nova Scotia Community College - IT Campus in Halifax, NS where I graduated with a Diploma in Systems Management/ Networking.From 2009 - 2015 & 2018 - 2021, I worked part-time at Rocky Lake Pizza in Bedford during my educational studies.
