I'm an end-to-end product designer, helping clients and companies with product/UX design, research, and transformations. I have experience working both solo and leading small teams, and I have played leading design roles in agile transformations at multiple companies.I enjoy the communal nature of UX design, and embrace coaching and doing as complementary activities in my work. I have had leading roles in complex digital products (web and app-based) in the education and consulting spaces. I believe in leadership through vision and persuasion, leading through influence as much as through hierarchy.Good user experience is first and foremost about people and relationships: users and their relationship to the people in the company, the people in the company working together to create the best experience for the user. I focus on the people to get the best experience, one that achieves user goals and business targets.In addition to extensive direct experience with user research, user journeys, personas, wireframes, and pixel-perfect UI, I have led teams through ground-up redesigns to boost user engagement and adoption. I have helped companies elevate the voice of the customer through innovative process improvements. I have built UX groups and mentored designers and researchers.I am passionate about designing with intention, which involves strategy and a solid process. I’m an evangelist for design thinking and lean UX and believe that everyone plays their part in design. Collaboration is key, and in my experience, a good collaborative process is the best way to unlock the full potential of a product.
