Hello, My name is Andrew Clair, and I’m an operations analyst for MasTec Advanced Technologies. MasTec is a home service provider that delivers, installs and supports an array of consumer and commercial products. With over 3,000 full-time technicians, MasTec is the leader of last mile fulfillment services for the deployment and installation of technology and IoT devices. In my current position, I create reports and audits through Microsoft, SQL and Power BI that helps the management and executive teams with their decision making when it comes to recruiting, workload allocation, technician retention, and tech efficiency. I also communicate regularly with people from different departments, including recruiting, human resources, finance, and information technologies, to ensure systems are operating properly on the backend that we're in compliance legally and contractually with the government and our business partners.I was a resource coordinator for MasTec before I was promoted to an operations analyst. During that time, I assisted with daily operations on the backend to ensure technicians' profiles were set up correctlyBefore my time at MasTec, I was a ride share driver for Uber for three years, where I helped over 6,500 passengers by picking them off and dropping them off safely at their desired locations. Using my communication and interpersonal skills, I ended my time with a personal rating of 4.98 out of 5 stars. Prior to being a ride share driver, I taught general choral music for two years on a Native American reservation in Parker, Arizona, teaching 7-10 music classes a day. I developed and implemented hundreds of lesson plans that met Arizona's Academic Standards in the Arts, as well as organized and ran five music events at our local schools and community.I received a Bachelors in Vocal Music Education, and have experience working with and assisting kids and adults from a variety of different backgrounds. I studied Corporate Accounting for a year at Arizona State University and will be returning to Western Governors University in September to complete a degree in Business Administration - Accounting.Right now, I’m looking for a position or career where I can use my skills as an operations analyst and future skills as a accountant to help a team or company create a positive impact on the world, whether it's ecofriendly technology, security defense, etc.
