My role at UTA was to take planned projects and get them rolling. During my internship I created a master partnership agreement between UTA and the local electrical utility company. Another project I was put in charge of was writing a corporate policy that outlines criteria for requests to add additional transit stations to existing routes. This experience taught me how the processes of transportation planning and project development work together to continually enhance a transit system.
