Less than a year after joining PolyAI, I was trusted with managing the UK design team and later promoted to Lead. Alongside existing IC responsibilities, I was responsible for the design team's impact in the company and acted as the SME on conversation design, helping set company strategy for user experience and voice.

As a dialogue designer at PolyAI, I built virtual assistants from discovery to deployment and beyond. This involved researching how users would interact with voice systems, crafting dialogue and working with cutting-edge natural language understanding and LLMs. I also worked alongside engineers to build and deploy assistants for clients, primarily in Python.As the second design hire at PolyAI, I helped establish best practices and built the conversation design team.
