As Expedition Leader, I am a part of a team that specializes in intimate luxury cruises for around 100 guests, exploring places around our world. My role involves planning and implementing daily excursions, ensuring unforgettable experiences in breathtaking destinations, and prioritizing guest safety and satisfaction. With a commitment to responsible travel, I lead a dedicated staff of naturalists, photo instructors, wellness specialists, field educators, historians, and more- all to create transformative journeys that leave a positive impact on our guests in the wilderness we explore.As a naturalist, my role on these expeditions is to provide scientifc and ecological perspective, knowledge, and understanding about the world around us. We lead all excursion activities (hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, biking, etc.)including pertinent and informative education and interpretation throughout. As a Certified Field Educator, I additionally am able to curate programing specific to explorers under the age of 18. With my wide-reaching teaching background, I provide unforgettable, one-of-a-kind experiences for guests who are able to harness the inner child in them.I've worked contracts in Southeast Alaska, the San Juan Islands and Pacific Northwest, the US Channel Islands, and Baja California Sur.

I teach 4th-12th graders about many different subjects of marine science, including fish, sharks, algae, plankton, oceanography, invertebrates, marine mammals, and more. In addition to our labs, we also take our students snorkeling (day and night), hiking, kayaking, and other more physical activities to show them a different way of learning about the world around us.

I trained and led classes that involve both large and small keelboats.

I managed a staff of over twenty recreation employees, training and guiding them as we worked as a program to provide a safe and enjoyable recreation program to our school and its visitors. We are a boathouse program that offers kayak, paddleboard, sailboat, and other water sports equipment rentals, planning and hosting several large-scale events each semester and smaller classes and trips during the week.

As a watersports instructor, I taught and led classes in fishing, kayaking, sailing, powerboat safety, and marine life. As the kayaking instructor, I led trips around Boca Ciega Bay, FL, giving an environmental education aspect along the way. I taught about different kinds of habitats, the species that inhabited them, wildlife refuges and protected areas, and more.

TA for Introduction to Oceanography and Global Climate Change.

Worked as a maintenance and upkeep staff, fixing and cleaning boats, keeping the docks and waterfront area safe and clean, and building props and decorations for events.
