About Andrew Cusick
With 30 years of career development experience working with leading academic institutions, private enterprises, and nonprofits, I co-founded ProPhounD with a very specific mission in mind: to bridge the gap between the underutilized workforce of PhDs and the organizations that need them.How do we do this? By building sustainable connections between our network of over 650 PhDs and the organizations that often struggle to find the right candidates within this specialized talent pool. More than that, we facilitate company-sponsored events, PhD to industry training and workshops, and build custom orientation programs so companies can leverage PhD talent in unique and impactful ways within their organization.Leveraging my previous experience working in career and workforce development for Northwestern University, Loyola University Chicago, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I continue to dedicate time to universities—currently the University of Delaware—as a career advisor to bring the ProPhounD mission into the education system and provide guidance on roles in industry, government, academia and beyond.
