Joined restaurant group as the Director of Operations to construct processes that would enable rapid expansion. Created tools from the ground up to effectively manage the business, working closely with analyst and founders to build training manuals and guidelines for, inventory, production, forecasting, and purchasing systems. Leverage deep analytical skills and strong tools to calculate pricing structures, determine production capacity, manage inventory, and profit margin analysis. Developed process flow for physical product across entire team – creative services, product development, and e-commerce. Managed team of fifty including hourly employees, chef consultants, general managers, and marketing team. Pioneered employee reward program to increase retention rate. Leadership Strategy:Encourage transfer of knowledge at all turns and instituted cross-training to ensure business continuity in case of emergency; educated peers on relationship management and negotiations, especially with vendors and other service providers; worked between divisions to create the cross-functional understanding of supply chain, sales, creative, and operations. Concept Implementation:Launched multiple programs with the goal of expanding sales period to 24 hours. Including a high-volume catering department. Delivery expansion with delivery hubs covering 60% of Manhattan. International BYO Greek yogurt and granola bar paired with BYO hot tea stations for morning service.
