I wrote and edited copy for all marketing collateral produced by the British Museum – the number one visitor attraction in the UK. Brief highlights include:• writing marketing copy and campaigns for over 100 exhibitions and displays, including Rodin and ancient Greek art, the Scythians, Egypt's sunken cities, Celts, Pompeii, Ice Age art, the Vikings, China’s terracotta warriors, Japanese erotic art, ancient Egypt, Afghanistan, Grayson Perry, Shakespeare, the Hajj and many more• editing all kinds of documents, from marketing posters and flyers to large-scale annual reports, funding applications and magazines• creating and implementing a House Style, and creating departmental style sheets for tone of voice and content• writing, editing and generally consulting on the Museum’s blog output• implementing a coherent content strategy across different platforms• consulting on social media, writing and editing content for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr etc• helping to build Twitter followers to nearly 2 million and Facebook Likes to 2 million• writing and designing enewsletters and ecards for a list of over 150,000• project management of collateral including the what’s on guide, events programmes etc• writing and editing digital content across the website and blog

I produced collateral to promote the choir. I completely re-designed the choir's website, set up their Twitter account and used a professional designer to improve the posters and flyers.

I wrote and edited features and reviews for monthly magazines in order to sell classical, jazz and pop CDs to Britannia members.

I was a sales assistant in the Oxford Street branch of HMV. I was in the Classical department, and I dealt with enquiries, worked on the tills and was in charge of the Composers S-Z section.
