Product Manager for AT&T’s Managed Security Services, focused primarily on those delivered under the GSA's Networx contract.Lifecycle management for a portfolio of managed services comprised primarily of enterprise security solutions. Created processes and documentation to support “back room” requirements. Supported and tracked sales efforts, (re-)designed work flows for service ordering, enablement, delivery, and billing. Mined revenue data to generate reports, identify trends, and correct errors. Created sales training materials and marketing collateral.

Volunteer service in operations, administration, and governance.

Leader of project management, customer liaison, and IT Governance efforts. Provided project management services for twenty (+) intra-company business units hosted in a newly constructed data center. Led the company’s efforts to consolidate multiple leased data center facilities into a single owned facility. Led the company's efforts to identify IT risks, implement mitigating business continuation plans, and build disaster recovery infrastructure. Additional responsibility for establishing or improving the configuration management, service level management, and customer support processes associated with the company’s technology initiatives and M&A activities. Established and maintained standards for the predictable delivery of high quality IT services, and in doing so, created alignment between the centralized hosting services department and the company’s business units across the country.

Program management of contracts with US Navy. Wrote winning proposals, staffed, and managed service delivery under multiple vehicles. Prepared revenue and expense forecasts, compiled quarterly performance reports for CACI senior management and was accountable for revenue and margin attainment. Direct-billable service delivery to the largest of the Navy contracts, the outsourced operation and maintenance contract for the host location of a large scale, web-delivered, SAP implementation as Operations Manager, Data Center Manager, and Deputy IT Director. The facility managed housed 375 servers, LAN/WAN devices, firewalls, 50 TB of SAN, and advanced environmental controls. Managed staff of 70+ engineers who administered operating systems, networks, databases, applications, information sharing services, 7x24 operations, facilities, help desk, and project management office. Combined annual budget of $20M to include labor, hardware, software, facility, and maintenance contracts.

1995-2000: Designed and launched Compaq's Enterprise Consulting Services. Responsible for finance, contracts, marketing, staff development, service product R&D, and measuring delivery quality and customer satisfaction for the organization. Supported 75+ field practitioners, consulting revenue goals of $15M and a product sales (influence) goal of $2B. Managed the organization’s IT Proof of Concept practice consisting of a staff of 15 consultants, $5M in equipment, and Proof of Concept laboratory. 2000-2002: Responsible for coordinating rapid deployment and lights-out data center management projects with top-tier (installations of 1,000 or more servers) Internet Service Provider and Application Service Provider customers.

Responsible for staff of 10 pre- and post-sales engineers in a territory consisting of 21 northeastern states, the District of Columbia and eastern Canada. Managed equipment and human resources to achieve the region’s revenue goals and sustain high customer satisfaction. Recognized field specialist in the SX multi-level secure product line and an early firewall appliance which became the basis for a spin off company now known as CyberGuard Corporation.
