Currently, I work with the Executive Leadership team to solve management challenges across Teach For America's National Recruitment team. This involves national landscape analyses, project management, and large team management capacity.Previously, as a Field Managing Director, I developed vision for and managed a team of 6-10 direct reports and an enterprise of over 20 employees to recruit future teachers to join Teach For America’s corps.Additionally, I participated and led on national recruitment Management Team, designed and execute key management trainings for new people managers, and analyzed national recruitment data to drive prioritization of key national recruitment supports and strategies.

Trained, managed, and coached 8 summer institute staff members, including 1 School Operations Manager, 5 Corps Member Advisors, 1 Curriculum Specialist, and 1 Literacy Specialist.Facilitated implementation of prototype Common Core Standards curriculum for middle school ELA, math, and science courses for roughly 250 students.Tracked and evaluated 45 corps members’ mastery of the Teaching as Leadership model and curriculum objectives.Created and managed toward visions for King Middle School’s student achievement, culture, and management structures.Designed and executed management systems to actualize King’s vision for success.Partnered with Atlanta Public Schools School Site Administrators to ensure King Middle School hit performance benchmark scores.Managed team in creation and implementation of strategic professional development based on student achievement data analysis.

Managed and coached 7 CMs at five-week training institute through observation and structured problem-solving.Analyzed corps members’ instruction and lesson plans to facilitate differentiated development plans. Tracked and evaluated corps members’ mastery of the Teaching As Leadership model and curriculum objectives to lead to transformational teacher development and student achievement.Exceeded Institute (86%) ratings on End of Institute “Welcoming Environment” metric earning a 100% rating of “agree” or “strongly agree.”Exceeded Institute average of 83% on End of Institute Survey question, “My CMA has been critical in my development as a teacher” earning a 100% rating of “agree” or “strongly agree.”

Analyzed students with disabilities, set goals, designed curriculum and taught in a co-teaching and resource setting, resulting in an average of 95% class content standards being mastered by students in one year.Taught mathematics and social studies classes in a resource setting to 30 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students with exceptionalities; students reached 100% of goals by mastering 86% of class standards, 92% on teacher-created problem solving rubric, 3.5 year average fluency growth, and 97% on teacher-created collaboration rubric.Wrote and oversaw Individualized Education Plans and Behavior Improvement Plans for 15 special education students, ensuring that accommodations and modifications are carried out and documented in each of their classes.
