To develop and implement a Trust IT Strategy combined with leading on all IT aspects of the Trust’s business plan. A senior member of the Trusts executive team working with each of the Trusts ten schools Leadership Teams to identify and implement the technology and operational requirements required facilitating efficient and effective IT services.I have produced and implemented a road-map for the standardisation of the technological infrastructure across all organisations within the Trust, ensuring legal compliance, improved performance and greatly enhanced service levels in all aspects.I am the project lead for the implementation of GDPR involving the liaison with all Trust staff on this important change in legislation and the impact it will have on us all.

Management of the IT Operations team within Thompsons and ownership of the complex IT infrastructure installed throughout the organisation and used by the 1100 staff. IT Operations incorporates management of the Support, Infrastructure and Resource teams.To ensure that business functions are well supported and that IT assists in the strategic aims of the organisation. To be the primary technical design authority/architect within Thompsons, including the vetting of designs provided by integration companies involved in various projects. Designing and implementing Business Continuity systems and processes in the event of a significant disaster.

Responsible for the management of IT Operations identifying training and development needs through performance reviews in line with the Trusts policies and procedures.Ensured that the necessary design, infrastructure, processes and procedures were in place to minimise disruption and recover key systems or services in the event of a major outage providing continuity of service to the Trust.The production of technical designs and recommendations to the Trust on the server infrastructure, liaising with 3rd parties when required and ensuring work was completed on time and within budget.Ensured that technical configuration, troubleshooting, recovery and fault resolution were performed in line with the needs of the Trust and followed ITIL standards.The project management and delivery of IT Infrastructure projects to meet the Trust objectives of efficiency and patient care whilst working alongside key directorate stakeholders.

Technical lead on Microsoft Windows server strategy and implementation within the organisation.Support of the IT Infrastructure namely Microsoft Windows servers, Citrix and IBM AS400.
