2024December update: I'm working on the second draft of a work of fiction intended for publication. I expect this stage of the work will be my main focus until mid 2025.I left the BBC in July 2021.In the first half of 2021 I was digital producer for the BBC's flagship music TV show Later... with Jools Holland, creating and syndicating social media assets, including short highlights packages.Between 2010 and 2019 my main role was as Digital Lead for BBC Proms.This entailed re-using content mainly from TV and commissioning additional material to curate, syndicate, signpost and join-up content from, and related to, the world's greatest classical music festival. A key aim was to guide music lovers to the discovery of content they might otherwise not have found or, indeed, may not have expected to find in the offer. The Proms digital lead is an editorial leadership and strategic role which pivots on partnerships, innovation, commissioning, planning, product specification, project management and multi-platform production.
